3 Keys to Developing The Ideal Client Attraction Attitude

Written By Ryan

Lately, I’ve prattled on and on about the dangers of bad clients and the negative impact they can rain down on your business. And in my last post, I identified how, even with this knowledge, you may still be ushering bad clients into your biz. In short, you are, consciously or not, attracting the WRONG kind of clients. Thus perpetuating a cycle the forever holds back your business growth and development.
Also in my last post, I left you with a MAJOR TEASE about how you can avoid this trap and attract the RIGHT kind of clients.
So without further ado, here are the three keys to developing the ideal client attraction attitude…

PMA

Bad Brains is a Washington DC punk band founded in 1977. The best song on their debut album, an underground cult hit, is entitled “PMA” – an acronym for Positive Mental Attitude. And the tune’s chorus says it all…

“Yeeeeeeeeeah! We got that PMA!”

PMA is CRUCIAL to the success of your business (and your life in general). You’ll never perform to your highest potential or achieve your ultimate goals without it.
Obviously sustaining PMA can be difficult, especially as a small business owner… With far too many responsibilities and not enough hours in the day, it’s easy to become discouraged.
Here are 10 tips to help pump up your PMA!

Total Confidence

Of course, we ALL have insecurities. We’re only human, right? And when it comes to our work product, it’s nearly impossible to avoid self-doubt. The problem is, your personal doubts bleed into your attitude. And that doubt can bleed into your marketing, if not into your work itself.
When your ideal client is seeking a vendor, they’re most likely to hire a vendor that projects Total Confidence.
Similar to PMA, building uncompromising confidence is tough row to hoe, ya know?
Here are 12 tips to help you overcome self-doubt and amplify your confidence.

Projecting The RIGHT Attitude

So you’ve got PMA. And total confidence in your abilities and work product. The final key to the attraction attitude equation is projecting these qualities…
In the past, we’ve touched on the shortest definition of marketing: “Anything and everything you do to make, and keep, a customer.”
How does this connect to PMA + total confidence? Everything – From your website, to promo emails, to Tweets, FB updates + IG posts, to brochures + other print media, to phone calls + in-person meetings, MUST project PMA + total confidence.
Anything less will leave your ideal client wondering if you are their ideal vendor…
