And it’s GLORIOUS!
I’m a bit spoiled living in SoCal. There’s not much swing between winter and summer weather in these parts.
But growing up in Southeast Michigan, summer was always my favorite time of year. The warm weather and sunny day were so few, I learned to treasured each one.

Recover & Recharge with Fun in the Summer Sun!

Summer’s also the time of year when things sloooooooooow doooooooooonw. You come into work later and leave earlier. You escape on trips and takeoff on getaways.
And that’s great. Everyone needs downtime to recharge the ole batteries. In fact, bunches and bunches of research shows value of taking time away from work to recover and recuperate – physically, mentally and spiritually.

Take Advantage of the Downtime

Actually, this slowdown is also a great time to evaluate your business.
Now that you can take a breath and look at the “big picture,” where are you with the marketing projects you slated for 2015?

Summer Marketing Projects

Website Update
What’s happening with that plan to revise your website content? Weren’t you going to rewrite your content using a voice and tone that match your brand and better positions your business to attract your ideal clients and win new business?

Strategy and Scheduling for the Rest of The Year
And where are you with you with rest of your marketing plans for the remainder of the year? Are you on track to finish everything you slated back in January?
Now is the time, given that you actually have some time, to chip away at these projects (and more). Use this downtown to make some headway toward developing the Marketing Habit.
