Who Cares?

Who cares?

Written By Ryan

If you’re in the professional services realm, you likely got into the business to help people.

Of course, you aim to make money. But you intend to do so by helping your clients solve problems and fulfill needs…

  • As a real estate agent, you help your clients house themselves and their families, make their largest personal investment, and sometimes see a huge financial return on a property sale.
  • As an attorney, you protect your clients’ rights.
  • As an accountant, you help your clients save money on taxes and better manage their money.
  • As a financial planner, you help your clients secure their financial future.

You’re rewarded for your efforts. And the better you are at your job, the more handsome the reward.

But to see any reward, you need clients. And to get clients, you need to make a connection.

How Do You Make a Connection With Prospective Clients?

In the simplest terms – show that you care.

It doesn’t matter who you are or what you’ve accomplished. Your experience and expertise matter more to you than to your would-be clients.

They care about solving their problems and meeting their needs. And to make a connection, you need to show that you care about their problems and needs, too.

Now, there isn’t necessarily a tried-and-true formula to demonstrate such caring. The path often depends on who you’re trying to connect with.

But at the most basic level, it starts with putting the focus on your prospective clients.

In other words, make it about them, not you.

It’s not about what you can do. It’s about how to solve their problems and meet their needs.

So, who cares?

You care – about your clients.

And effective marketing hinges on showing that care.
